Megalolamna paradoxodon
Taxonomy
Megalolamna paradoxodon was named by Shimada et al. (2017). Its type specimen is UCMP 112146, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pyramid Hill, upper concretion-bearing bed, which is in an Aquitanian marine sandstone in the Jewett Formation of California.
