Orhaniyeia nauta
Taxonomy
Orhaniyeia nauta was named by Métais et al. (2018) [urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:FAD3AAFB-58CB-4A7E-A4EF8D2DE1A0DC23]. Its type specimen is EOU-UCF-4, a mandible (dentary fragments w left m2, left m4, right p3, right m1-m2, right m4), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is ORH type locality, which is in a Lutetian wet floodplain siliciclastic in the Uzunçarşidere Formation of Türkiye. It is the type species of Orhaniyeia.
