Taxonomy
Eucytherura lacerata was named by Forel (2017). Its type specimen is P6M4156, a valve (right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kilek section, Kilek-24, which is in a Julian offshore limestone in the Huglu Tuffite Formation of Türkiye.
