Microbrachis pelikani was named by Fritsch (1875). It is not extant.

Synonyms
  • Microbrachis branchiophorus was named by Fritsch (1883). It is not extant. Its type specimen is CGH 3016, Orig. 53a, a skull. Its type locality is Nyrany, which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine coal in the Kladno Formation of the Czech Republic.

    It was synonymized subjectively with Microbrachis pelikani by Steen (1938).
