Ducula tihonireasini
Taxonomy
Ducula tihonireasini was named by Rigal et al. (2018). Its type specimen is NMNZ S.47667, a limb element (right tarsometatarsus, broken through the foramen distale and lacking all trochleae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Onemea Site TAR-6, layer II, which is in a Holocene terrestrial sandstone in French Polynesia.
