Pattersonocnus diazgameroi
Taxonomy
Pattersonocnus diazgameroi was named by Rincón et al. (2019). Its type specimen is MCNC-82-72V, a limb element (right femur), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 0.5 km west of Quebrada (Quebrado) Picacho, which is in a Miocene coastal sandstone in the Urumaco Formation of Venezuela. It is the type species of Pattersonocnus.
