Ceneichthys zambellii
Taxonomy
Ceneichthys zambellii was named by Taverne and Capasso (2015). Its type specimen is CLC I-441, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cava Ratta, near Cene, which is in an Alaunian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Calcare di Zorzino Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Ceneichthys.
