Rousettus pattersoni
Taxonomy
Rousettus pattersoni was named by Gunnell and Manthi (2018). Its type specimen is KNM-KP 68719, a tooth (right P4/), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kanapoi Bat Site, which is in a Pliocene terrestrial horizon in the Kanapoi Formation of Kenya.
