Baalsaurus mansillai
Taxonomy
Baalsaurus mansillai was named by Calvo and Gonzalez Riga (2019). Its type specimen is MUCPv-1460, a mandible (almost complete right dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baal Quarry, Lago Barreales [MUCP], which is in a Turonian/Coniacian terrestrial conglomerate in the Portezuelo Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Baalsaurus.
