Taxonomy
Pseudomyledaphus madseni was named by Kirkland et al. (2013). Its type specimen is MNA V9840, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is OMNH V856, which is in a Coniacian/Santonian terrestrial horizon in the Straight Cliffs Formation of Utah.
