Taxonomy
Columbusia deblieuxi was named by Kirkland et al. (2013). Its type specimen is UMNH VP 18878, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Campbell Canyon, UMNH VP Loc. 77, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Wahweap Formation of Utah.
