Taxonomy
Callorhinchus alfordi was named by Cicimurri and Ebersole (2015) [no type locality listed; reported to occur in Piscataway Member, Aquia Formation, Thanetian age]. Its type specimen is CMM-V-5791, a mandible (incomplete left mandibular), and it is a 3D body fossil.
