Auliscomys osvaldoreigi
Taxonomy
Auliscomys osvaldoreigi was named by Quintana (2002). Its type specimen is MACN 19691, a mandible (rama mandibular derecha completa con toda la dentición), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Playa Santa Isabel y Punta San Andrés, which is in a Pliocene terrestrial horizon in the San Andres Formation of Argentina.
