Auliscomys fuscus
Taxonomy
Auliscomys fuscus was named by Quintana (2002). Its type specimen is MACN 19686, a mandible (rama mandibular derecha con toda la dentición, maxilar derecho con la serie M1-M2, ambos húmeros.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Playa Santa Isabel y Punta San Andrés, which is in a Pliocene terrestrial horizon in the San Andres Formation of Argentina.
