Eumysops marplatensis
Taxonomy
Eumysops marplatensis was named by Olivares and Verzi (2015). Its type specimen is MMP 482-S, a maxilla (maxillary with both DP4–M3 series and zygomatic arches partially preserved; right hemimandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baliza San Andres, which is in a Pliocene terrestrial horizon in the San Andres Formation of Argentina.
