Mayomys confluens
Taxonomy
Mayomys confluens was named by Boivin et al. (2018). Its type specimen is MUSM 3183, a tooth (Left M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shapaja (TAR-01), which is in an Oligocene floodplain conglomerate in the Pozo Formation of Peru.
