Proardea deschutteri
Taxonomy
Proardea deschutteri was named by Mayr et al. (2019) [assigned questionably to genus Proardea in initial description]. Its type specimen is IRSNB Av 129, a limb element (left tarsometatarsus, distal half), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hoogbutsel, which is in an Oligocene fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Borgloon Formation of Belgium.
