Taxonomy
Epitonium washingtonensis was named by Weaver (1916). Its type specimen is CAS 557, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Galvin Station, which is in a Chattian offshore sandstone in the Lincoln Creek Formation of Washington.
It was recombined as Acrilla (Undiscala) washingtonensis by Durham (1937).
