Taxonomy
Eripachya vaccina was named by Saul and Popenoe (1993). Its type specimen is LACMIP 11548 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 10760, Little Cow Creek, which is in a Turonian marine horizon in the Redding Formation of California.
