Glycimeris hannibali
Taxonomy
Glycimeris hannibali was named by Dickerson (1916). Its type specimen is ANSP 4422 (lectotype) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. 672, Parsons Peak, which is in a Ypresian marine sandstone in the Domengine Formation of California.
It was synonymized subjectively with Glycymeris (Glycymerita) sagittata by Squires (1984).
