Isopristes crassus

Taxonomy
Isopristes crassus was named by Nicol and Allen (1953). It is not extant. Its type specimen is USNM No. 108691. Its type locality is Atacocha Mine, USGS Loc. 24388, which is in a Norian marine horizon in the Chambara Formation of Peru. It is the type species of Isopristes.
