W.O. Addicott 1970 | Shell small, conical, narrowly umbilicate. Spire o:f about three whorls, sutures channeled. Sculpture o:f very fine to 1nicroscopic spiral ·grooves and Inicro- scopic prosocline growth lines. Body whorl about three- fourths height o:f shell. Base· sculptured by about 20 very fine spiral grooves that become more·widely spaced toward the umbilicus, the spiral groove closest to the umbilicus being much wider than the rest. Um- bilicus smooth, deep, bordered by a broad spiral swelling. Aperture rhombic. Umbilical margin of apertural lip straight; inner part of apertural lip straight above, sloping outward below. |
