Taphophoyx hodgei
Taxonomy
Taphophoyx hodgei was named by Steadman and Takano (2019) [Zoobank D423D7E9-6D28-49D1-8004-135C342BDAC0]. Its type specimen is UF 425443, a set of postcrania (left coracoid), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Montbrook, FLMNH site LV070, which is in a Hemphillian fluvial sandstone in Florida. It is the type species of Taphophoyx.
