Taxonomy
Phymodonucula concentrica was named by Guo (1988). It is not extant. Its type specimen is IVy0680. Its type locality is Jinding, Lanping (Sanhedong Formation), which is in a Carnian marine horizon in the Sanhedong Formation of China. It is the type species of Phymodonucula.
