Taxonomy
Skyphoconcha was named by Liu and Gu (1988) [Sepkoski's age data: D l Sepkoski's reference number: ZR90]. It is not extant. Its type is Skyphoconcha beichuanensis.
It was synonymized subjectively with Pseudonuculana by Fang (1998); it was misspelled as Scyphoconcha by Sepkoski (2002), Fang et al. (2009).
It was assigned to Nuculidae by Liu and Gu (1988); to Nuculida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Nuculanidae by Fang et al. (2009).
