Iquius nipponicus

Taxonomy
Iquius nipponicus was named by Jordan (1919). Its type specimen is CAS 441, a partial skeleton (anterior skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hachiman, Iki Island, which is in a Miocene lacustrine diatomite in the Chojabaru Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Iquius.
