Liyamayi dayi
Taxonomy
Liyamayi dayi was named by Travouillon et al. (2014). Its type specimen is QM F56246, a tooth (right M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rick's Sausage Site (Riversleigh World Heritage Area), which is in a Miocene fluvial horizon in Australia. It is the type species of Liyamayi.
