Pampamys emmonsae
Taxonomy
Pampamys emmonsae was named by Verzi et al. (1995). Its type specimen is GHUNLPam 308, a set of teeth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bajo Giuliani, which is in a Huayquerian loess siltstone in the Cerro Azul Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Pampamys.
