Taxonomy
Ligulacaris parisiana was named by Charbonnier (2019). Its type specimen is UBGD 30562 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Paris Canyon (Paris Biota), which is in a Spathian transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone/marl in Idaho. It is the type species of Ligulacaris.
