Magyarcarcinus loczyanus
Taxonomy
Palaeograpsus loczyanus was named by Lörenthey (1898). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kis-Sväbhegy, which is in a Lutetian marine limestone in Hungary. It is the type species of Magyarcarcinus.
It was recombined as Magyarcarcinus loczyanus by Schweitzer and Karasawa (2004), Busulini and Beschin (2009), De Angeli and Caporiondo (2009), Schweitzer et al. (2010), Beschin et al. (2010), Busulini et al. (2012), Beschin et al. (2013), Beschin et al. (2016) and Schweitzer et al. (2022).
It was recombined as Magyarcarcinus loczyanus by Schweitzer and Karasawa (2004), Busulini and Beschin (2009), De Angeli and Caporiondo (2009), Schweitzer et al. (2010), Beschin et al. (2010), Busulini et al. (2012), Beschin et al. (2013), Beschin et al. (2016) and Schweitzer et al. (2022).
