Taxonomy
Pseudosquilla lessinea was named by De Angeli and Garassino (2008). Its type specimen is IGVR 67497-67291, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Monte Postale, Monte Bolca (Museo di Storia Naturale di Verona collection), which is in a Ypresian carbonate limestone in Italy.
