Cyclocorystes vulgatus
Taxonomy
Lobonotus vulgatus was named by Quayle and Collins (1981). Its type specimen is BMNH In.61722, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Horizon A2, Christchurch Bay, which is in a Bartonian coastal claystone in the Barton Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Cyclocorystes vulgatus by Schweitzer et al. (2010).
