Benthalbella praecessor
Taxonomy
Benthalbella praecessor was named by Nazarkin and Carnevale (2019). Its type specimen is ZIN 410p, a skeleton (partly disarticulated skeleton in part and counterpart), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Penzenskoe, which is in a Miocene/Miocene marine horizon in the Kurasi Formation of the Russian Federation.
