Varuna angustifrons

Taxonomy
Varuna angustifrons was named by Karasawa (1993). It is extant. Its type specimen is MFM218501, a carapace. Its type locality is Hatada Cliff, which is in a Rupelian marine mudstone in the Kishima Formation of Japan.

It was recombined as Carinocarcinoides angustifrons by Karasawa and Fudouji (2000), Schweitzer et al. (2010).
