Taxonomy
Eupatagus floridanus was named by Clark and Twitchell (1915) [attributed to Clark only]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Johnson's Lime Sink, which is in an Eocene marine horizon in the Ocala Formation of Florida.
