Glochidioxylon sahnii
Taxonomy
Glochidioxylon sahnii was named by Prakash (1959). Its type specimen is BSIP 10363, a wood, and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Bharatwada, Nagpur, which is in a Paleogene fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Deccan Intertrappean Formation of India.
It was recombined as Paraphyllanthoxylon sahnii by Mädel (1962), Lakhanpal et al. (1976).
