Iberodactylus andreui
Taxonomy
Iberodactylus andreui was named by Holgado et al. (2019) [Hamipterid pterodactyloid with the following autapomorphies: relatively deep premaxillary tip, premaxillary crest with its anterior margin curvature at an angle of about 80°.]. Its type specimen is MPZ-2014/1, a partial skull (An anterior portion of a rostrum, including premaxillae –with a premaxillary crest– and maxillae, both with alveoli and broken teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Los Quiñones, which is in a Barremian coastal limestone in the Blesa Formation of Spain.
