Ensio agassizii
Taxonomy
Ptychomya agassizii was named by Lycett (1850). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Geological Survey Museum No. 9139. Its type locality is Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, which is in a Bajocian shallow subtidal limestone in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Ensio.
It was recombined as Ensio agassizii by Cox (1961).
