Taricha lindoei
Taxonomy
Taricha lindoei was named by Naylor (1979) [Differs from Taricha oligocenica in having a narrow scapular blade and lacking dermal bone on the neural spine; differs from Holocene Taricha in having longer tubercular processes on the ribs.]. Its type specimen is UA 13870, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fossil Schoolhouse, , which is in an Oligocene lacustrine shale in the John Day Formation of Oregon.
