Bathylagus angelensis

Taxonomy
Azalois angelensis was named by Jordan and Gilbert (1919). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bairdstown, which is in a Miocene marine shale/sandstone in the Monterey Formation of California.

It was recombined as Bathylagus (Quaesita) angelensis by David (1943); it was recombined as Bathylagus angelensis by Fierstine et al. (2012).
