Taxonomy

Ptarmigania germana was named by Resser (1939). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 54s - Near mouth of North side Two Mile Canyon, 2 miles se of Malad, Wasatch Mts, which is in a Menevian carbonate limestone in the Langston Formation of Idaho.

It was recombined as Poliella germana by Fritz (1968), Palmer and Halley (1979).

Dolichometopsis potens was named by Resser (1939). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 54s - Near mouth of North side Two Mile Canyon, 2 miles se of Malad, Wasatch Mts, which is in a Menevian carbonate limestone in the Langston Formation of Idaho.

It was synonymized subjectively with Poliella germana by Palmer and Halley (1979).
