Taxonomy
Bathyurus parvulus was named by Billings (1861). Its type specimen is Nat. Mus. Canada no. 433 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Corynexochus (Bonnia) parvulus by Walcott (1916); it was recombined as Bonnia parvula by Resser (1936), Lochman (1947); it was recombined as Bonnia parvulus by Kobluk and James (1979).
