Astycoryphe jorusi
Taxonomy
Astycoryphe jorusi was named by Van Viersen and Prescher (2010) [Paratypes: One cranidium (IRSNB a12759), one incomplete cranidium (IRSNB a12763), three librigenae (IRSNB a12758, a12760, a12762), one juvenile pygidium (IRSNB a12757)]. Its type specimen is IRSNB a12761, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Resteigne quarry, Hanonet Fm, unit 2, which is in an Eifelian shallow subtidal limestone/shale in the Hanonet Formation of Belgium.
