Llajassus caesius
Taxonomy
Parribacus caesius was named by Squires (2001) [Lower-Middle Eocene; California]. It is not extant. Its type locality is CSUN Loc. 548, Simi Arroyo, which is in a Lutetian transition zone/lower shoreface siltstone/sandstone in the Llajas Formation of California.
It was recombined as Llajassus caesius by Nyborg and Garassino (2017) and Gustafson (2023).
