Taxonomy
Doraranina manleyi was named by Gustafson et al. (2019). Its type specimen is CMNH F-62673, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UO 4577, Steele Creek, which is in a Ypresian marine siltstone in the Lookingglass Formation of Oregon.
