Chalcides augei
Taxonomy
Chalcides augei was named by Čerňanský et al. (2019). Its type specimen is ZIN PH 265/181, a partial skull (parietal), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tagay 1, which is in a MN 5 lacustrine sandstone/claystone in the Tagay Khalagay Formation of the Russian Federation.
