Eorhinoptera grabdai
Taxonomy
Eorhinoptera grabdai was named by Case et al. (2011). Its type specimen is UALVP 52360, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jamestown Limestone Quarry, Pit III, which is in a Ypresian marine limestone in the Fishburne Formation of South Carolina. It is the type species of Eorhinoptera.
