Taxonomy
Kembawacela kitchingi was named by Angielczyk et al. (2019). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NHCC LB18 (skull and mandible). Its type locality is L53, Luangwa Basin, which is in a Wuchiapingian/Changhsingian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Madumabisa Mudstone Formation of Zambia.
