Holdhausiella elongata
Taxonomy
Sanguinolites elongatus was named by Holdhaus (1918). It is not extant. Its type locality is Horseshoe Canyon, Daggett County, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the Park City Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Holdhausiella.
It was recombined as Pleurophorus elongatus by Reed (1935) and Mendes (1944); it was recombined as Holdhausiella elongata by Mendes (1952) and Simões et al. (2017).
