Fukuipteryx prima
Taxonomy
Fukuipteryx prima was named by Imai et al. (2019). Its type specimen is FPDM-V-9769, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kitadani Dinosaur Quarry (lower, BB I), which is in an Aptian fluvial sandstone/shale in the Kitadani Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Fukuipteryx.
